To Members of Meetup Adventures,

Help me make this a group of which you will enjoy being an active member. I am seeking Event Planners to plan and host events. These do not have to be limited to outdoor activities, such as canoeing, kayaking, skiing, hikes, and/or traveling, as other events and social gatherings are acceptable. Create events and meetings you enjoy doing. Are any of you interested in doing this?

I will help you list events. Actually since I am a tweaker, I will probably also edit them, so please do not be someone who is sensitive to having someone do this. Also when possible I tend to allow members to RSVP Yes up until the last minute. My preference is for you to be hosting an event you have previously done or have at least explored its location. It is important to know where to meet, including its GPS findable street address, along with a knowledge of the event. If it requires physical activity, it is important to know the level of the event as to it being beginner, intermediate or advanced. Required shoes, boots, and/or other gear should also be known. Though it is always nice to try to include all levels, this is not always possible. When it is possible to do so, incorporating a social time during and/or following an event is always a plus.

There is no limit on how many Event Planners we can have. Also there are no requirements relative to the level of the events you might host. They may be beginner, intermediate, advanced, and/or a combination with one or more available options. A long time ago I learned that people will RSVP Yes and never show up, so be aware that this does happen, and as such never blame yourself or anyone else when this happens. Of course if there is a fee involved, we will need to discuss that prior to the event being listed.
